Sony’s latest offering the “Premier 3″   has a bright 3” (480×854l) display; It is equipped with a  3-megapixel camera, has Bluetooth, GPS capabity, Infrared connectivity and a dedicated remote control but the best part…… Plug a 3.5mm jackplug into your CD player and rip songs/albums straight to the phone! Nifty I say!

Google Blacklists The Whole Internet

Posted in Tech by Neil Koster on January 31, 2009

logo1The 40 minute “glitch” initiated by Google’s malware detector which trys to block sites that may be malicious to the user. Unfortunately the Malware Dection was a little off and caused every site in Google’s search (which most people use) to be blacklisted. The world almost came to a standstill! Just think how many geeks were struggling and twitching not being able to jump into the cloud! Anyway Google has shrugged it off as “human failure” blaming it on an engineer who apparently added all sites instead of one site to the blacklist. Easily done it seems.

One wonders how long until  an engineer accidentally deletes everyones GMail account?

Denon DVD-A1UDCI Multiformat Player Delayed

Posted in Tech by Neil Koster on January 30, 2009

denon
Denon’s all conquering Multi-Format-Universal player has been delayed until March 2009. Japanese firm Denon has not released too much info as to the reason for the delay other than the cliched “production problems” (made famous by Wii makers Nintendo and obviously catching on!) It plays Blu-ray, SACDs, CDs, DVD-Audio, DVD-Video and it looks beautiful!

Colim Is Your Very Own Optimus Prime Camper Van

Posted in Tech by Neil Koster on January 30, 2009

The Colim , which stands for Colors of Life in Motion, is the brainchild concept of  German Designer Christian Susana. Go on holiday, park somewhere nice and detach for a little jaunt around the city! Sleeps 4 with a top speed of 90 mph. Makes sense doesn’t it? No word on when they will go into production but keep a look out.
