Sony And Sandisk Join Forces To Create 2TB Memory Stick

Posted in Tech by Neil Koster on January 9, 2009

Sony have announced they have teamed up with SanDisk to deliver 2TB memory sticks. Yes 2 Terra bytes!  The “Memory Stick format for Extended High Capacity” (as is currently named) is going to signal the end of small drives and will open up a few interesting possibilities. If, as early rumours are suggesting,  the drives will have a 60MBps data transfer speed just think of how these bad boys are going to increase your space on that little webook you bought for Christmas!

Backups – faster!
