The Australian Government has launched the Broadband for Seniors initiative. The Plan has as its main goal a large investment in creating 2000 Community centre-based Internet kiosks. Gran and Gramps can now surf away to their hearts content and stay in touch with loved ones and access social networks which, Families and Community Services Minister Jenny Macklin has stated, will “Allow pensioners to embrace the Internet”.

Sounds Good as long as they keep the torrents to a minimum !
